• Valley of the Swords

The fairy chimneys, rock formations and churches seen on the right side of the road on the way from Göreme Open Air Museum to the town form the popular face of Kılıçlar valley. Although it is close to the main road and the museum, the walking route of the valley is one of the hidden routes. The route, which continues between the deep and narrow canyon, intersects with the Meskendir valley.

It is at the point that we can call the heart of the Cappadocia valleys. Located at the intersection of Kızılçukur, Güllüdere Valleys and Kılıçlar valleys, which are the most well-known and popular valleys of Cappadocia, and connecting these valleys to each other, it also offers an easy and pleasant walk with its own hiking route, wonderful panoramic points offered by these valleys on one side, and Göreme and Uçhisar views on the other.
