  • Red Valley
Along the 5 km long walk in the most beautiful and best-known valley of Cappadocia, which is also identified with the sunset of Cappadocia; It offers the opportunity to closely observe the history and nature of Cappadocia and to experience the emotion of its mystical atmosphere.
  • Cavusin
When approaching this settlement, a huge cliff stands out. This rock mass consists of hundreds of sections such as houses, churches and monk cells. In ancient times, people in the Cappadocia region carved their houses into these rocks and turned them into a living space, due to the softness of the rock formations in the region. The Çavuşin campus is one of the oldest settlements that can be shown as an example. People continued to live here until about 1950, but due to years of wear, some places were destroyed, and then there was a much greater collapse. Thus, the people living here continued to live by building stone structures against this rock mass called the old Çavuşin.
  • Avanos
It is an ancient city established on the banks of the Kızılırmak. The Kızılırmak is the longest river that starts and ends in Turkey. The Kızılırmak divides the district in two from east to west. This city, divided by Kızılırmak, is connected to each other by 4 bridges. The oldest of these is the stone bridge. The reason why this river is called Kızılırmak is that a red clay layer was formed by the mixing of the minarets brought by the river from far away and the rich minerals in the Cappadocia region, and this added a reddish color to the river. It has lost this feature due to the dams built today. The city of Avanos has hosted a history of four thousand years, bearing the traces of Hittite, Phrygian, Persian, Assyrian, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman. The art of jug making in this city is a legacy left by the Hittites and has been produced since 2000 BC. The Hittites were experts in pottery making. They built a pipeline to carry spring water to cities and meet their water needs. The water pipes used were also used to transfer polluted water and rain water. Thus, the city of Avanos became legendary even for lovers. What did the lover seyrani say, "the blind also knows the way of the avocado, it is clear from the broken jug."
  • Ozkonak Underground City
It was discovered by accident in 1970 by Latif Acar, a native of the village. While wandering around the field wondering where the water that he irrigated the field went to, Özkonak discovered a large room belonging to the underground city. Afterwards, it was organized and brought into tourism. Although the exact date of construction is not known, this underground city, which was developed by the Christians who came to the Cappadocia region in order to be protected from the Roman invasion and then the Arab invasion, is a large underground city consisting of 11 floors. Today, only 4 floors can be visited. Like other underground cities, there are water wells, warehouses, sliding doors, tunnels and communication channels in the underground city of Özkonak.
